VIDÉO. Municipales 2026 : les trois leçons à retenir de ce second tour

Un tiers des électeurs et électrices étaient appelés aux urnes ce dimanche 22 mars pour le second tour des élections municipales. Celui-ci a notamment été marqué par un taux de participation stable par rapport au premier tour mais aussi par la perte de Besançon et Poitiers pour les Écologistes. Voici ce qu’il faut retenir de ce second tour.

Le second tour des élections municipales s'est tenu ce dimanche 23 mars. Trois grandes leçons sont à retenir selon notre éditorialiste politique Stéphane Vernay.

La première ce sont les discours autour de larges victoires. Revendiquées notamment par LFI et le RN, ces discours sont à relativiser. Il est plutôt intéressant de noter que le PS ou encore les Républicains font état de belles victoires, notamment à Paris ou Marseille.

Renaissance lui aussi compte quelques belles villes remportées comme Bordeaux. 

Un aperçu pour 2027 ?

Durant ce second tour de nombreux alliances ont été aussi été effectuées entre LFI et le PS. Dans certaines villes, ces fusions ont été gagnantes mais pour beaucoup d'entre elles ce ne fut pas le cas. Enfin, dernière leçon : si beaucoup de journalistes s'attendaient à ce que ces élections donnent un aperçu de la prochaine présidentielle, il n'en est rien.

Rien n'est gagné, la campagne sera finalement encore pleine de surprise. Les prochains restent donc encore très déterminants.
